This race is fantastic, even if it is super crashy. The "Foxtail" Opel Manta is absolutely heroic.

Just got back yesterday from attending the 24h of the Ring. Everybody supports this Manta B with his famous Foxtail. Even the marshalls chear for it when it blazes past.
Haven't quite found out what the story is behind this thing, only that the team building it, Kissling Motorsport, did some crazy Omega DTM cars aswell.

What I heard from Radio Le Mans was that they originally had an LED marker light on the antenna and the race stewards made them take it off. So the team got pissed off and decided to stick it to the stewards. Thus, foxtail. And for some reason it was allowed.
Which is the best.
Or did you mean the Manta itself? In which case, I have no idea, but it's just heroic.
